About me: I consider myself to be an extrovert with an outgoing personality. I am very talkative and have a good sense of humour.

I arrived in Australia in February 2011 and since the very first day I’m living a wonderful life full of new experiences and challenges. I am currently studying a two year double degree in Master of Business Information Systems/MBA at the North Sydney Campus.

Being a student can sometimes be hard especially when you have assignments, presentations, deadlines and exams but at the same time here I must admit that I’m living unforgettable moments of my life with friends from all over the world, very encouraging and inspiring lecturers and friendly and welcoming environment.

Australia is giving my life a new turn and these experiences are giving me the opportunity to constructively communicate with myself, thus acting as stimulus for my personal development.

Working as a systems analyst for the past years at the Parliament house and Ministry of Information and Communication Technology of Mauritius was very challenging and has equipped me with skills and knowledge to make a promising career in the IT Sector, but since learning is a never ending process, I have decided to pursue this course in Australia to acquire more knowledge and get a better exposure and work towards attaining my goal which is to become an IT Director. Today I don’t regret this bold decision of mine.

Australia, being such an technologically advanced country, so rich in culture, and so diversified is giving me a great exposure in all spheres of life and I believe that this will be a never ending experience where I am sure as I go along I will learn and discover many things about myself and ultimately work towards strengthening my good attributes and eliminate my weaknesses.

I believe in hard work but at the same I do strike a balance between my student life and personal life, as the saying which says” All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy”. Saying so, besides my studies, I’m enjoying visiting places of interest in Sydney such as Blue Mountain, Opera House, and Olympic park, among others with my new international uni friends.

I don’t know whether I should call it luck, but Australia is treating me well and I’m cherishing every single moment of my life over here.
