The National Year of Reading monthly theme for August is ‘question’ – which really is at the heart of university life and study isn’t it?

Our ACU graduate attributes list the type of graduate that ACU aspires to produce, and much of the emphasis is on enquiry and questioning.

The ACU Mission speaks about graduates who “… will be highly competent in their chosen fields, ethical in their behaviour, with a developed critical habit of mind, an appreciation of the sacred in life and a commitment to serving the common good”. If you are engaged, exploring, critical, discovering, searching – you are probably asking some great questions.

Martin Luther King : “Cowardice asks the question, ‘Is it safe?’ Expediency asks the question, ‘Is it politic?’ Vanity asks the question, ‘Is it popular?’ But Conscience asks the question, ‘Is it right?’”
