On trial: ARTS:LIVE, an online learning platform for arts education

August 1, 2014 – 11:03 am

We have ARTS:LIVE on trial until 31 August.

“Using innovative technology, the ARTS:LIVE platform promotes active collaboration between teachers and students and supports teachers in delivering arts education across all Australian Curriculum art forms of Music, Media Arts, Dance, Drama, and Visual Arts. ARTS:LIVE offers pre-service teachers access to highly practical, theory-based education resources designed to enable them to ‘hit the ground running’ and enter the classroom to confidently and effectively deliver the Australian arts curriculum”.

There is a sign in button at top right of the homepage. However, the first time ACU staff and students access ARTS:LIVE they will need to register with their uni email address via the library’s trial resource link. This is to ensure that they go through the proxy server and, once they have registered this way the first time, they will then just be able to sign in to ARTS:LIVE from any computer via the standard website/URL.
