New online resource: AMH Children’s Dosing Companion

The AMH Children’s Dosing Companion (CDC) is published by the Australian Medicines Handbook (AMH), and is used to determine doses of medication for children. It contains the most commonly used medicines in Australia for children up to 18 years of age.

The AMH Children’s Dosing Companion includes:

  • an A-Z drug finder
  • guides (on prescription, administration, drug availability, and age-based weight and height averages)
  • a body surface area (BSA) calculator
  • a summary of key changes to certain medications
