Earth Hour was started in Australia in 2007, aimed at drawing attention to environmental issues, and has since grown to a global movement which is celebrated in over 172 countries.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of Earth Hour. On Saturday 25 March 2017, Australians are encouraged to switch off their lights between 8.30pm and 9.30pm to highlight the impact of climate change.
