ANZAC Day is Tuesday 25 April

All campus libraries will be closed on Anzac Day, but will reopen on Wednesday 26 April. After Hours facilities at Ballarat and Brisbane will remain open.

Check opening hours for times.

If you would like to learn more about Anzac Day, the Library has some excellent resources. Type ‘Anzac Day’ into the library search box and you’ll get links to books, audio, DVDs and more:

  • Anzac Battlefields: More than 80 per cent of Australians killed during the First World War lost their lives on the main battlefield, facing the formidable force of the main enemy. This documentary explores their stories.
  • ANZAC Girls: Honouring the centenary of the commencement of WW1, ANZAC Girls is a moving new six-part series based on the unique, and rarely told true stories of Australian and New Zealand nurses serving at Gallipoli and the Western Front.

Don’t forget though – our online resources never close:

  • Our 24/7 chat continues to be available all day, every day.
  • Access online books and journal articles through your subject guide
