Last year we upgraded to our new Library Search, and we’ve been working hard on improvements to make it easier to use.

Over the weekend, we released an update and you might notice some of the changes:

1. Based on your feedback, we changed the wording of the Refine my results feature to make it easier to understand:

Old wording New wording
Availability Show Only
Creation Date Dates
Full Text Online Online Resources
Print Books Physical Resources

It used to look like this:

Now you will see this:

Online Resources
limits your search to show resources that are available online. This includes journal articles, ebooks, online videos and more.

Physical Resources limits your search to show resources that are available in our libraries. This includes hard copies of books, DVDs, kits and more.

Hint: If you would like to find physical books, you can use the Resource types filter to narrow your search by clicking “Physical Resources” then “Books & E-books”

2. You can now view your search history by clicking the icon in the top right hand corner of the page
