NAIDOC Week is held every year to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

This year, the theme of NAIDOC Week is Our Languages Matter. This theme aims to explore and celebrate Indigenous languages in Australia, and recognize their historical and ongoing importance.

NAIDOC Week is a time for all Australians to learn more about Indigenous languages, and shine a spotlight on the programs and community groups that work to record, preserve or revitalize them.

There are NAIDOC Week events being held throughout Australia. Check the NAIDOC Week website for more information.
